New Style Samples: Carousel 2013

We’re all waiting with baited breath as our new line ships from Korea next week! We’re so excited, in fact, that we just had to share with you some snaps of the samples to give you a sneak peek. You’ll see these gorgeous new pieces in the shop as well as in just a few weeks. Our owner Tom flew all the way across the world to source top fabrics to ensure that our designs are unique, wearable and, most importantly, the best quality. And…the best part of the job is picking some gorgeous patterns and colours for our latest styles, which we think you’re gonna love just as much as we do!

Once we tried on this sample floral dress we were instantly in love. The delicate pleats and simple scoop neckline make it a staple for spring.

We can’t wait for you to see this sleeveless, simple blouse. We tried it with a pair of worn in blue jeans for an instant classic look.

Here’s just two samples of the prettiest dresses we have on their way. Feminine, flowing, floral. These are a few of our favourite things! Oh we’re getting carried away…!

We are just dying to show our new Carousel line as soon as it arrives so stay tuned! xx

January: Just In: Jewellery

Let’s face it: It’s miserable out there. January is a tough month to get through at the best of times but with these freezing temperatures and constant slushy rain we need a pick me up. And nothing picks us up more than a jewellery delivery! We’re lusting after this batch of beautiful necklaces, rings and earrings and we think you will be too!

We are loving our staggering and stylish new ring collection made from recycled brass.

This white ring will eclipse your friend’s finger style!

We adore our new feather circle necklace. It takes a simple blouse or dress to the next level and exudes elegant simplicity.

Feeling Floral? This gorgeous bouquet of brass brightens up any outfit!

Our new jewellery is available in store and online here:

Oscars Red Carpet Style: What Should We Wear To Our Oscars Party?

Liz Taylor shines on the Oscars red carpet

Awards season has arrived and we just love all the glitz and glamour that comes with this time of year. The Oscar nominations were announced this week and we are loving the Best Actress category. Three of the most stylish women in Hollywood, Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence and Naomi Watts,  have received  nods from the Academy, as well as the youngest ever nominee, Quvenzhané Wallis, and the eldest, Emmanuelle Riva. We can’t wait to drool over this year’s red carpet style, so we’re looking back at some classic award fashion to gear up for the big show on February 24th live from the Kodak Theatre.

Jessica Chastain, who is up Best Actress for her role in the compelling Zero Dark Thirty, is quickly becoming a Hollywood fashion icon for her staggering sense of style. We loved her in Givenchy at the 2012 Golden Globes.
Naomi Watts has been sparkling on the red carpet since she broke out in David Fincher’s 2001 film Mulhollond Drive. Ms. Watts is nominated in the Best Actress category for her role as “Maria,” in The Impossible, an inspirational true life account of a family torn apart by the 2004 tsunami.  We adored her truly magical look at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.
Jennifer Lawrence has proved that she’s a whole lot more than “Katniss” from The Hunger Games. The 23 year-old actress could be taking home her first golden statue this year for playing “Tiffany” in David O. Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook. She wowed the world in 2012 with her golden garb at The Hunger Games premiere.
The youngest actress ever to receive a nod from the Academy went to 9 year-old Quvenzhané Wallis for playing “Hushpuppy” in Beasts of the Southern Wild. Wallis hasn’t had much experience on the red carpet just yet, but we loved her in this sweet ballet dress at movie’s premiere.
Finally, 85 year-old Emmanuelle Riva earned a spot in the Best Actress category for her role as “Anne” in Michael Haneke’s critically acclaimed Amour. We loved the French actress in blue at Cannes last year.
We’ll definitely be throwing an Oscar party on February 24th to celebrate Hollywood’s biggest night. Just like the silver screen stars we’re already planning our outfits. Check out some of our ideas for our Oscar party and let us know which dress you think we should wear to watch the 85th annual Academy Awards!
Our ruby red swing dress!
The classic Emily and Fin Grace dress!
Go SusieQ in the Susan dress!
Maybe we should go vintage in this Dotty Not Mad number!
